Have I done this right
Have I done that
Do you still like me
Or should I try harder
On and on it goes
Fuss-budget blues

Who said that life
Had to be so sad
Always singing the blues
Me, I find joy in life
I ain’t got no blues

People say I should
Take myself seriously
As a poet
Fat change, I know
I am good
But I have a case of the
Not too serious blues
