Red Candle
Light a red candle
To remember us
For what we have done
In our pride and arrogance
The call to duty came
We were the first they trained
Destroying what humanity we had
We kill, torture, spread terror far and wide
Now we live with the regrets of
All the blood we shed
Light a red candle for us
For forgiveness of our sins
Before our time has past

‘Red Candle’ is a fine tribute to those who served where most would not dare to go…memories do not die or go away…a red candle of forgiveness is not much for anyone to ask for…this is a deeply emotional writing.
