In The Name Of The Beloved

We are alone in the cloister of our own oneness
At the portal of the darkness and the light

Beloved lead us to the utmost heights
To the clear dawn of understanding

Let us hear the voices that come
From this moment in time

Teach us to know the love and joy
The pain and sorrow of life

Guide us in our quest for enlightenment
That we may return to the sanctuary of your mind

Our journey will be long but we live
To serve in the name of the Beloved

    ‘In The Name Of The Beloved’ is a writing that is deeply spiritual and captivating in a manner that envelopes the reader in a peace and serenity sought by so many and enjoyed by so few…your phrasing ‘the sanctuary of your mind’ draws one to the all-emcompassing nature of this poem.
