The Prayer

Dreamers, makers, protectors, teachers
All the servants of the beloved

Lovers, warriors, guardians of souls
Essences of a dream fulfilled

Bathed in the illumination of the spirit
Redeemed and sustain by the eternal power

We stand transfixed by the glory
Of a universe of infinite possibilities

Beloved, bless us and keep us as we travel
Far in our journeys and our dreams

Remember us, counsel us and return us to
Your grace at our journey’s end

    Your poem ‘Prayer’ is among your very best…it is indeed a prayer that is both touching and sustaining…it is for all and could be said in the privacy of one’s own self or in the sanctuary of any place of worship…your talent and caring spirituality shine forth in your lines.
