Silk Road
I heard the call from the muezzin
Calling me to prayer
I pause upon my journey
To give thanks and mediate
On the glories of the world
That I had already seen
I travel along the Silk Road
Not for fame and riches
But the treasures of the mind

‘Silk Road’ is one of your poems short in its phraseology but deep and rich in meaning and content…you are on the Silk Road of life to experience the reverence of the mind…a treasure far greater than that of the earthly realm.
