Mind Games

Come lover and dance with me
You desire my mind and want
To capture me

Come if you dare, I challenge you
To reach the heights you can
I will climb out of reach

Taunt, try to control
I will steal your very soul
Careful now before it is too late

Come mage and show what will
Be my fate, travel my path
Be careful you do not fall

You controlled me once but never again
It is too late; my heart is no longer stone
You cannot not hurt me

Let us play the mind games
See who will win, the heart or mind
Only time will tell…

    ‘Mind Games’ is a poem of strength and independence…it is a writing that is good for me to read…the power of your lines instills a confidence within me to be independent and free….I like this poem very much…it is a valuable life-dealing lesson.
