Lost in Time
Standing beside the waterfall of forgotten memories
Dreaming of one I used to know so many years ago
A mystic entered my life when I was lost in time
He stayed awhile and taught me of my calling
He left me in winter, alone within my tower
I learned well the mystic arts and of the price I paid
I can only stand now and watch from my high abode
And sometimes dream of that mystic who came into my life
I tossed those dreams into the waterfall, turned and walked away
I have no need for memories; my heart has turned to stone
I can only stand now and watch as the world passes by
Remembering long ago when I was lost in time

‘Lost in Time’ is a writing with a special mystique…it is not of us but of the unexplainable world of the mystics…it is of a different level so separate from the world of the secular…this poem has a serenity and a calling unique in its individuality.
