The Candle

The candle flickers in the dark
It’s flame dancing in the breeze

I am that flame what sighs with
Forgotten memories

I am lost in sorrow’s web
Sadness was all I have

I dance forgotten in the room
Shadows my only company

    Your poem ‘The Candle’ is very moving in its content…in a very beautiful way you represent the candle burning and flickering down like the darkness of the sadness of a life that was…the old life has passed…only shadows remain.
