Labyrinth

In the overgrown garden
I found a labyrinth
I took my first step in the
Journey of my soul
On and on I travelled
Toward the center point

I took time to ponder
How far I had come
On my path to enlightenment
As I left the labyrinth
I knew my way was clear
My journey would never end

As I followed the labyrinth
Of my soul

    Your poem ‘Labyrinth’ is deeply spiritual and calming…it speaks so pleasingly of a life journey to the enlightenment sought…reading your lines I see you on the labyrinth path with the tangled growth of the overgrown garden silhouetted in the moonlight of a clear and dark evening…a very descriptive writing with a fine touch of your mystic nature.
