Long ago we
Changed the world

Sitting in the old cafes
Plotting uprising and unrest

Never thought it
Would come to this

Battle against the bourgeoisie
Hail to the proletariat

Singing the International
Vive Le Revolution!

    ‘Vive La Revolution’..stirs up thoughts of sitting with fellow poets like Charles Baudelaire in the mid 1800’s plotting the revolution of the common people to rise up against tyranny and injustice…it awakens that part of me that has always been a slice of my individuality.
