Siren’s Call
Journey to the wild side
Of revolution’s call
Of speeches, guns and
Anarchy as we heeded
Her siren’s call
I was young and foolish
Thinking I could do it all
When I joined the cause
Of liberation of my nation
And heeded her siren’s call
Now I am older and wiser
Knowing that I can do nothing more
The cause is now dead and gone
But I would still answer
Revolution’s siren’ call

‘Siren’s Call’ tells how the call to revolution is like the captivating call of the siren…it draws with a power too great too resist…even in their older years the true revolutionaries would indeed answer the “siren’s call” as you have written in your poem…this is a great writing with a great title.
