Street Walker
Standing on the corner
Waiting for her next john
Fast talking pimp
Promising her the world
Scared all the time
Will her next trick be her last
Beatings, drugs, rape and booze
No way to live a life
How did it turn out this way
Not what she dreamt of
Standing on the corner
Waiting for the final act

The loneliness, despair, and victimization of a life once loved is set to mind very well in your poem ‘Street Walker’
