Love Poem

Someone asked me to write a love poem
I don’t have the least idea on how to do it

Do you talk about the birds and bees?
Or of passions unrequited?

Is love like a soap opera?
Or more like an opera?

The questions spin around my mind
I’m dizzy from the whole idea

Someone else write this poem
And put me out of my misery!

    ‘Love Poem’ asks the question I have asked myself and cannot answer…your poem makes me think…I too leave the composing of love poems to others…after reading your writing here I feel more at ease with myself.
