Four Old Pigeons
The old pigeons sat up
In their roost
Watching the humans below
Did you ever see such a
Sight as the creatures
Walking back and forth
Lots of crumbs today
We should eat good
Tonight
Wait a minute
What are they doing
Some nerve
They didn’t ask if
We wanted our pictures
Taken
That is an evasion
Of our privacy
Just you wait
Want to fly down
We can fix them
Good….

Your poem ‘Four old Pigeons’ is great…thanks for writing this Ceol…I see you and I that day taking the pictures of the old buildings…we sure did invade the privacy of “the four old pigeons”…good thing they didn’t fly down and “fix” us…I love how you put that…this poem brings back a nice memory of a lovely day enjoyed by two true friends.
