Forgive

They are afraid of us
They don’t understand

We were never meant
To be treated how we are

We are sentient beings
Different from the rest

We were meant as mentors
Not subjects for your scorn

Understand that we are
The evolution of your kind

What we are, you will become
Let us teach you and we will
